What tog duvet is best for a king sized duvet?

The ideal tog rating for your king size duvet depends on several factors: how warm you sleep, your room's temperature, and the season. A quick guide: Choose 2.5-4.5 tog for the summer months for a light, breathable duvet. For the in-between seasons, consider 7.5-10.5 togs. Can I use a king size duvet on a double bed?

How to care for a king size duvet

A king size duvet will be too large to clean at home, so we recommend taking it to a laundrette to use their large-capacity machines. This gives the duvet plenty of room to move and get properly clean. Ensure it’s dried thoroughly before using it again. For minor cleaning jobs, like if you spill a cuppa on your duvet, it’s best to spot-clean the patch with a damp cloth and some warm, soapy water rather than washing the whole thing.
