The Natural Choice for Your Window

Neutral curtains offer a versatile and timeless solution for any interior design style. Whether it's a modern, minimalist space or a cosy, traditional home, neutral curtains provide a calm and sophisticated backdrop that allows other elements in the room to shine.

From our earthy cumin to our gentler cafe au lay, our neutral curtains blend seamlessly into any room, making them a pretty and practical choice for those seeking a stylish option for their windows.

What colours should I pair with my neutral curtains?

If you're aiming for a Scandi look then we love the combination of white, greys or black with a neutral curtain, to create a sophisticated and minimalist aesthetic. Or for something monochromatic, then why not try layering other neutrals together in your room - cream, natural and cafe au lay for example are particularly calming and serene.

But neutral colours are extremely versatile and can be paired with almost any colour you'd like to introduce - why not try a gentle pink, an earthy green or a bright pop of yellow?

What is the difference between natural and neutral?

At Secret Linen Store we use the word 'natural' to refer to the colour of our undyed linen - we love this earthy and warm tone and, as well as curtains, we also have bed linen in this colour. On our website we have gathered together our natural, cafe au lay and cumin colours and called them 'neutral' to make it easy for customers searching for these natural earthy tones.
