Sara Tasker

Sara Tasker is the brains, messy hair (in her own words) and style behind Me&Orla... a lifestyle blog from deep within Yorkshire. Sara first grabbed our attention with her offer (to everyone, not just us) to stay in her sleepy Yorkshire village, for FREE, our bag is packed for the trip, we're just waiting for the moon to be full and the sun to shine for a while.

Sara has a unique style which just makes us want to slow down. Her blog is filled with chickens, flowers, all things pink and of course, lots of cute pictures of Orla. We love that Sara made Gin from her elderflowers when all those around her make cordial. She loves our linen too, thank you for taking part Sara... welcome to Molly Meets.

  • Describe your blog in 3 words.

Slow, simple, lifestyle

  • What's on your bed today?

Our Secret Linen Store linen duvet cover, and a separate cotton quilt. I’m too hot to sleep under the duvet, but my fiance and daughter don’t agree!

  • Do you wear a nightdress, pj's, or nothing?

Just Chanel no 5 and a smile, as they say. Or handcream and a smile, in my slightly less glamourous case.

  • Who would you invite to your dream midnight feast? Dead / alive / animal?

Aslan, Tim Minchin, Jon Ronson and Tori Amos. The conversation would be *awesome*.

  • How do you like your eggs?

In a cake… Or failing that, scrambled.

  • Clean sheet Friday or clean sheet Sunday? (Harriet and I disagree)

Sunday - I didn’t know Friday was even a choice! Tempted to try it now...

  • Flat sheet or fitted sheet?

Oh god, fitted. I wouldn’t know where to start with flat.

  • Do you have a bedtime ritual, can you share it with us?

Does a nightly gin and tonic count? With pink grapefruit and ice.

  • You're off for a weekend camping... What one luxury would you take from your bedroom?

A proper duvet. Sleeping bags are just not the same.

  • Tell us a secret?

I harbour a sneaking suspicion that I’d be fantastic on Strictly Come Dancing.

  • Who should Molly meet next?

Children’s author, Helen Stephens (@helenstephenslion on Instagram). Or see the midnight feast invitation list, above!
