All of our duvets feature smooth 100% cotton casings that are brilliantly breathable and moisture-wicking, helping you to sleep ever so soundly. Handfilled in either Scotland or Devon, choose from a variety of our brilliant natural and synthetic fillings, including microfibre, wool, feather and down. 

Our emperor duvets come in all tog ratings, including our All Season’s Duvet options. Choose from lightweight summer togs in 2.5 and 4.5 tog for a cool night’s sleep, or our comfy winter duvets in 13.5 and 15 tog.

Emperor Duvet FAQs

An emperor duvet is made to fit perfectly over an emperor-sized bed. However, if you share a bed with a partner who is a duvet hog, you can also use an emperor duvet on a king size bed to add extra drape on either side, providing superior coverage.

Yes, an emperor duvet is much larger than a super king duvet. At Secret Linen Store, our emperor duvets measure 290cm x 235cm, while our super king duvets measure 260cm x 220cm.

Emperor duvets are very large, and cleaning them can seem daunting. We recommend taking your duvet to a laundrette and using their large-capacity washing machines. This gives the duvet plenty of room to get properly clean. 

For small cleaning jobs, spot-clean your emperor duvet with a cloth and warm, soapy water. Make sure your duvet is thoroughly dry before using it again by drying it on the cool setting with a hairdryer.
