Super King Size Duvet FAQs

What’s the difference between a king-sized and super-king-sized duvet?

The difference between a king and super king sized duvet is simply the width.

Our king size duvets measure 225cm x 220cm, while our super king duvets measure 260 x 200cm. You get the same length, but our super king duvets give you extra room across the bed, perfect for an extra snug night’s sleep.

For more information on duvet sizings, read our handy Size Guide.

How to care for a super king size duvet

Due to its generous size, we don’t recommend cleaning your super king duvet at home. Instead, take it to a laundrette to use their large-capacity machines. This gives the duvet plenty of room to move and get properly clean. Ensure it’s dried thoroughly before using it again.

For minor cleaning jobs, like if you spill a cuppa on your duvet, it’s best to spot-clean the patch with a damp cloth and some warm, soapy water rather than washing the whole thing. Make sure the area is thoroughly dry by using the cool setting on a hair dryer.

For more cleaning and care tips, read our Duvets, Pillows and Toppers Care Guide.

What is the best filling for a super king duvet?

With so many fabulous options to choose from,  it can be easy to feel overwhelmed when deciding which filling to choose for your super king duvet.

Whether you love the cloud-like loft of feathers, the lightweight comfort of microfibre, or the natural warmth of duck or goose down and wool, our Duvet Fillings Guide walks you through each option so you can find the perfect match for your sleep style.
