The great news is that all of our bedding is machine-washable. Pillows should be cleaned every few months, while duvets only need a freshen up once or twice a year. To keep your bedding feeling fresh between washes, we recommend hanging your duvet and pillows outside on a sunny day; the sun’s UV rays work as a fabulous bacteria-buster and help to rid any stubborn yellow stains.

What tog duvet is best for a natural duvet?

The ideal tog rating for your natural duvet depends on several factors: how warm you sleep, your room's temperature, and the season. 

A quick guide:

• Choose 2.5-4.5 tog for the summer months for a light, breathable duvet.
• For the in-between seasons, consider 7.5-10.5 togs.
• During winter, we recommend 13.5-15 tog for a warm, snug night's sleep.

Choosing the right bedding is important for a comfy night’s sleep. Pillows help us feel supported, while duvets keep us nice and snug, helping to promote a more restful sleep.

A well-made duvet should last you 5 to 10 years. A tell-tale sign that it’s time for an upgrade is when you can feel ‘cold spots’ where the filling has migrated or broken down. Pillows, on the other hand,  will need replacing after a year or two if they’ve been consistently used.
