We’ll send you an email as soon as we've sent your order, and you’ll receive a DPD tracking number to follow your parcel’s progress. You'll receive an hour delivery slot and be able to re-arrange your delivery or arrange a safe place for your parcel with DPD.

General Safety Principles: 

Our mattress toppers are thoughtfully made and designed to be safe under normal, everyday use. They must be used with care and regard for safety instructions, especially in homes with children, older adults, or anyone with limited mobility. They're built to stay stable, hold their shape, and perform reliably throughout their use and care cycle.

1. Suffocation or Entrapment Hazard

• Ensure the topper fits snugly around the mattress; never place mattress toppers in a crib or bed with infants
• Do not leave small children unattended with a mattress topper, as it may pose a suffocation hazard and obstruct breathing
• Children should not use adult-sized mattress toppers
• Follow all safe sleeping guidelines for infants and young children

2. Choking Hazard

• Loose or torn mattress toppers may expose stuffing materials (e.g. down, feathers, or wadding) that can be choking hazards
• Always inspect for rips and open seams

3. Fire Hazard

• Mattress toppers made from flammable materials could pose a fire risk, especially near open or naked flames
• Keep mattress toppers away from open flames, heaters, candles, or other ignition sources
• Do not smoke in bed or allow smoking around bedding

4. Toxicity Hazard

• Fabrics used in bedding may be treated with harmful chemicals (e.g. dyes, finishes, or flame retardants) that could cause skin irritation or other health issues
• Use non-toxic, hypoallergenic dyes, finishes, and treatments that are safe for sensitive skin
• Ensure the fabric complies with safety standards such as OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 to confirm it is free from harmful chemicals

5. Strangulation Hazard

• Strangulation can occur if a topper is wrapped tightly around the neck — for example, if a child pulls a hanging mattress topper or becomes tangled under a loose one
• Ensure the topper fits snugly on the mattress
• Never leave infants unattended around mattress toppers or any other large bedding products

6. Wear and Tear

• Worn-out mattress toppers may expose filling and become ineffective
• Replace damaged items every 1–3 years, depending on use and material
• Periodically check for exposed filling and loose threads

7. Allergenicity

• Dust mites and mould can accumulate in mattress toppers, especially if the fabric is not breathable
• Use breathable, hypoallergenic fabrics that are easy to wash and maintain, such as cotton
• Ensure regular cleaning following the recommended care guidelines to prevent allergen build-up

8. Risk of Overheating

• Mattress toppers can cause heat stress, especially in infants and the elderly
• Choose breathable, moisture-wicking materials such as cotton or wool; avoid low-quality toppers made from polyester or PVC
• Choose bedding appropriate to room temperature and season (e.g. lightweight in summer)

9. Slipping Risk

• Loose mattress toppers on the floor can become a slip or trip hazard
• Keep bedding contained on the bed and off walkways
• Fold and store bedding properly when not in use

10. Improper Cleaning or Maintenance

• Always follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions
• Improper washing can lead to filling clumping, shrinkage, or mould growth if not dried thoroughly
• Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents that degrade fabric and fillings
