Emperor Duvets

An emperor duvet is made to fit perfectly over an emperor-sized bed. However, if you share a bed with a partner who is a duvet hog, you can also use an emperor duvet on a king size bed to add extra drape on either side, providing superior coverage.

Yes, an emperor duvet is much larger than a super king duvet. At Secret Linen Store, our emperor duvets measure 290cm x 235cm, while our super king duvets measure 260cm x 220cm.

Emperor duvets are very large, and cleaning them can seem daunting. We recommend taking your duvet to a laundrette and using their large-capacity washing machines. This gives the duvet plenty of room to get properly clean. 

For small cleaning jobs, spot-clean your emperor duvet with a cloth and warm, soapy water. Make sure your duvet is thoroughly dry before using it again by drying it on the cool setting with a hairdryer.
