400 Thread Count Bedding FAQs

It feels deeply, buttery soft with a noticeable richness. Compared to 300 thread count sateen, it is smoother and has a slightly denser, more substantial weight to it. This extra weight contributes to a beautiful, heavy drape that hangs elegantly over the corners of your bed, creating a very plush and inviting look.

Not always, as the quality of the yarn is the most important factor. A high thread count of poor, short-staple cotton can feel rough and heavy. However, because we only use the finest cotton, a higher thread count like 400 genuinely results in a fabric that is softer, smoother, and more durable, as more of those exquisite threads are woven into every square inch.

To protect the fine cotton fibres, we recommend washing on a cool 30 or 40-degree cycle with a gentle, pH-neutral liquid detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, which can coat the delicate threads. Tumble drying on the lowest heat setting will maintain its softness.
