Find your perfect set of white bedding

With so much lovely bed linen to choose from, how can you find the right set of white bedding to perfectly complete your look? We're here to help with those first, all-important decisions.

What fabric is best for white bedding?

We only make our white bedding in the finest quality fabrics, and then it's up to you to choose how you like your bedding to feel. For a crisp and cool bedtime, we would recommend our 100% cotton whereas if you love a bit of drape and luxury, how about trying some of our 100% linen?

We're admittedly biased, but we think whichever of our white bed linen ranges you choose you won't be disappointed. Head here for more help with choosing your new white bed linen.

What are some design tips for layering white bedding with accent colours?

A white bedding set is the perfect neutral base for any bed. Add a splash of colour or pattern with throw cushions in different shapes, textures and shapes.

Switch them up for the seasons or when you fancy a change. A textured throw or lightweight blanket over the foot of your bed is an easy way to add warmth, texture, and a pop of colour. For tips on styling with throws and cushions, head to our blog.

What is the best way to keep white bedding looking fresh and bright?

The trick is to keep things simple. Always separate your white bedding from any other colours in the wash or heavily soiled items (those needing a soak or pre-treat before washing).

Wash regularly - every week or so. Check you’re using the right detergents and stain removers. Want to know more? Take a look at our blog with Wilton London on caring for your wonderful whites.

How can I prevent and remove stains from white bedding?

Are we boring for saying avoid breakfast in bed? Maybe a little, but keeping food and drinks away from bedding is an easy way to prevent stains. If you do spill a little jam on your white duvet cover though, it’s pretty easy to clean with a gentle stain remover or baking soda is a brilliant natural solution.

What are the differences between white bedding materials such as cotton, linen, and sateen?

Cotton is a staple of any bedroom - durable, easy to clean, crisp and timeless, it ticks all the boxes for a cosy bed setup for any season.

Linen is super durable, breathable and can last for years. It’s a heavier fabric than cotton that actually gets softer with every wash. Nothing says indulgence quite like sateen. Smooth and silky to the touch, sateen brings a touch of elegance and luxury to your bedroom.
