• The Wash Tub: This tells you the maximum washing temperature. A tub with a hand in it means hand-wash only.

• The Square: This is all about drying. A circle inside the square means you can tumble dry. Dots inside the circle tell you the heat setting (one dot for low, two for medium).

• The Iron: Simple enough. The dots inside represent the recommended heat level.
