King Size Winter Duvets

A king size duvet is a brilliant upgrade, especially for a standard double bed if you love a little extra luxury. That extra 30cm of width makes a huge difference, ensuring there's plenty of duvet to go around so nobody gets left in the cold. It also creates a beautiful, generous drape over the sides of the bed for a truly inviting, hotel-worthy look.

A king size bed looks wonderful with at least four standard pillows (two on each side). For a truly magnificent bed perfect for propping yourself up on a lazy weekend morning, we love to place two large square pillows behind them. This fills the space beautifully, adds an extra layer of comfort, and makes your bed look incredibly plush and inviting.

While the tog rating determines the duvet's technical warmth level, a king-size duvet can certainly feel warmer and more snug. Its larger size provides better coverage, draping further over the sides of the bed. This helps trap more warm air underneath and prevents chilly draughts from sneaking in at the edges.
