A standard UK double bed is 137 x 191cm (not to be confused with a small double, which is a little smaller at 122 x 191cm.)

Many people are happy using a standard double-sized duvet (200 x 200cm) for double beds. However, if you're looking to give your bed a more plush and opulent look, or if you just prefer a little more coverage for cocooning in comfort, size up to a king-size duvet (2225 x 220cm).

While double bedding can fit a small double bed (mattress size 120cm x 190cm), it may have a slightly looser appearance. If available, consider small double-specific bedding (122 x 191cm) for a neater, more snug fit.

We recommend washing your bedding at 40°C with similar colours and using a gentle detergent to keep it lovely and soft for longer. Tumble dry on low heat, or air dry on the line outside for a clean, crisp feel.
