Striped Linen Bedding FAQs

Will striped bedding make my room feel busy or chaotic?

Striped linen is what we like to call the perfect neutral pattern. Because our 100% linen has a beautiful, natural texture and a soft, laundered finish, the stripes never feel harsh, rigid, or overpowering. Instead of stimulating the brain, they add a gentle, rhythmic visual interest that actually helps create a calming, low-dopamine environment.

It’s the perfect way to add a subtle design element to your space while still embracing the deeply relaxing, slow bedroom aesthetic.

Is striped linen good for hot sleepers?

Just like all our solid colours, striped linen is an absolute powerhouse at keeping you comfortable. The magic lies in the flax plant; its fibres are naturally hollow, which allows air to circulate freely around your body. If you share your bed with a hot sleeper, the linen quickly wicks moisture away from your skin, keeping you cool and dry all night long.

How do I care for my striped linen to keep the pattern crisp?

Looking after your stripes is wonderfully simple.

To keep the lighter parts of the stripe looking fresh, wash on a gentle 30°C or 40°C cycle. The secret is to use a mild detergent without any optical brighteners or bleaching agents, as these can cause the beautiful, darker stripes to fade over time. And please, step away from the iron; we think the natural, perfectly imperfect crumple adds to its timeless charm.
