With their premium materials and craftsmanship, goose down duvets are durable, long-lasting, and considered the most luxurious choice for ultimate comfort and indulgence.

What is goose down?

Goose down refers to the soft and fluffy feathers found beneath a goose's outer feathers. It is known for its excellent insulation properties, providing warmth and comfort in a duvet. Goose down clusters create pockets of air that trap heat, making it an ideal choice for those who like a lightweight duvet and a cosy sleeping environment.

What sizes do your goose down duvets come in?

Our goose down duvets are available in a range of sizes to fit UK beds, including:

  • Single
  • Double
  • King
  • Super King
  • Emperor
Are goose down duvets hypoallergenic?

All our duvets are hypoallergenic because we only use the highest quality down which exceeds European cleanliness standards. To learn more, read our blog on anti-allergy bedding.

How do I care for my goose down duvet?

Although all our duvets can be washed in a machine at home, we recommend you always follow the care instructions carefully. Of course, if you're at all worried about washing your duvet, simply take it to be professionally cleaned at your local dry cleaners.

Typically, you won't need to wash your duvet all that often, just the bed linen that encases it. So, in the meantime, you can spot clean and regularly fluff and air it out to help retain its loft and freshness.

Can goose down duvets be used all year round?

Goose down duvets offer excellent insulation but with great breathability, making them perfect for year-round use.

For summer months, we would recommend choosing a lighter-weight duvet, such as a 4.5 tog, but replacing with a heavier 13.5 to 15 tog duvet for the winter.

We also offer an all-season option, which consists of two duvets (a summer-weight 4.5 tog and a spring-autumn 9 tog) that can be used separately or combined to achieve a very cosy cover for the winter months (13.5 tog).
