Their wonderfully botanical hue instantly breathes new life into whichever space you choose to hang them, while the fabric's semi-sheer, lightweight nature allows a little outside light to filter through and boost your mood.

Linen's perfectly imperfect slubby texture and crumpled finish gives these curtains a charmingly laid-back look, while also being a dream to launder - no dry cleaning needed, just pop them in the wash at 40-degrees whenever they need a freshen and forget about ironing. They're even designed with a looped top so the pole can easily be threaded through for speedy hanging (no fiddly hooks here!).

These ready-made curtains come in a couple of different sizes and are sold as singles so you can layer and mix up the colours. Direct sunlight will bleach any fabric over time, and as these are unlined, we recommend drawing these curtains open during the day to keep the colour super strong.

All our lovely 100% linen has been piece-finished and dyed so this might mean a very slight variance in the length of each panel when they are fresh from the packet. Once they are hung for a few days the panels will settle and this will leave your room with the perfect finishing touch.

Here are our top washing tips for this collection:

• Wash on a 40 degree gentle warm cycle ( 30 degrees saves energy)
• Wash with similar colours
• Do not use optical brighteners
• Do not dry clean
• Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals
• Dry flat or tumble dry on a low heat - finish with a light tumble dry for softness
• Avoid drying in direct sunlight
• Advice: Some skin products contain ingredients that can cause discolouration
