UK deliveries - free mainland UK delivery on all orders over £80, delivered within 3 to 6 working days.

We use Royal Mail, DPD and DHL to make sure your new items arrive safely. You’ll receive an email from the courier when we’ve sent your parcel with a tracking number to follow your parcel’s progress. You’ll also be assigned a delivery slot and be able to re-arrange your delivery or arrange delivery to a neighbour, safe place or local collection point.

We do have Next Day and Saturday Delivery available within mainland UK for an additional charge of £4.95/£9.95. We are sadly unable to offer Next Day Delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey & Guernsey and some more remote parts of Scotland. Mon-Thu order before 3pm.

International deliveries – shipping will be calculated at checkout and you should receive your order within 7-10 days although there is an expedited option available for some destinations.

Our bedding is thoughtfully made and designed to be safe under normal, everyday use. It must be used with care and regard for safety instructions, especially in homes with children, older adults, or anyone with limited mobility. They're built to stay stable, hold their shape, and perform reliably throughout their use and care cycle.

• Ensure all buttons and closures are secure
• Regularly inspect closures for damage, loose stitching, or sharp edges

2. Chemical Safety

• Choose duvet covers that are certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 or equivalent, ensuring they are free from harmful substances, allergenic dyes, or heavy metals
• All Secret Linen Store duvet covers are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified

3. Tearing Risk and Durability

• Failure to follow correct washing instructions can lead to fabric tearing
• Follow all care instructions carefully, especially washing temperature and drying conditions
• Handle the duvet cover with care when inserting or removing duvets to reduce the chance of damage

4. Care and Maintenance

• Always follow the care label instructions
• Improper laundering can cause shrinkage and make the duvet cover fit poorly, and can affect dye stability and cause skin irritation
• It is always recommended to wash dark or brightly coloured sheets separately to avoid dye transfer
• High-temperature washing or tumble drying may shrink or weaken seams and closures
• Bleach and harsh detergents may fade dyes or damage fabric
• If care instructions are unclear or missing, contact the supplier or treat cautiously (e.g. cool wash, air dry)

Warnings & Best Practices

• Do not use duvet covers with missing or damaged buttons, loose threads, or exposed zippers
• Children under 3 years should not be given covers with buttons or detachable parts
• Ensure covers are well-fitted to duvets to prevent bunching, tangling, or exposure of sharp fastenings
• Avoid using covers with decorative attachments or embellishments that could detach and pose choking or scratching risks
• Avoid using heavily scented detergents or fabric softeners on guest bedding to prevent allergic reactions
• Replace or repair duvet covers that have visibly deteriorated, shrunk, or no longer fit well with the duvet
