We set ourselves the task of making a white curtain (they sell like Pastel de Natas around here) that had a little bit of embroidered detail (but not too much) and the look and drape of linen (but with the softness of cotton).

White Penelope Cotton Linen Loop Top Curtain was the result and my is she a stunner. This fabric is 70% cotton mixed with 30% linen yarns. It is just perfect for a curtain as it catches the light and makes it dance through the window.

Available in two lengths, 229cms and 260cms with a simple loop at the top, this curtain will let just enough light in while keeping your privacy at the same time.

The embroidery was so hard to photograph, Harriet said it would be, but we have done our very best and please take our word for it, it’s pretty special indeed.

Wash at 40 degrees as often as you like, hang to dry and they will be back up at the window by bedtime.
