Christmas is a hectic time, and the festivities seem to start earlier and earlier every year. We've spent this month planning for a busy January for the business and busy December with our families.

We've bought presents, decorated the tree, sung carols, eaten the Christmas dinner and now it's all packed away again ready for next year. As well as a lovely Christmas with our families, here's some of the things our team here at the Secret Linen Store have loved in December.

Along with preparing for the festivities December was filled crammed with preparing for a huge photo shoot. We had lots of new lovely linens to shoot and took some beautiful new photos of some of our oldest and most loved ranges.

The week before Christmas we took hundreds of lovely pictures, drank gallons of tea, sung along to Christmas songs and ate more mince pies than we'd like to admit.

We think this shoot was one of our best ever, and we have to say a huge thanks to all the brands that helped us make our photos even more beautiful. We had an amazing bed made by Button & Sprung, Sisal & Seagrass provided us with some super carpets, we featured some amazing lighting from our friends at Tom Raffield and painted all our rooms with some beautiful Little Greene paints.

You'll be able to see all our new bits in the Spring, but for now here's some of our super new shots of our Luxury White Stripe and our beloved Tiny Stripe Graphite Grey.

Our latest TV obsession, that we can't believe more people are raving about is 'Feud: Bette & Joan'. Available on iPlayer it's an entertaining drama all about the ongoing rivalry between Hollywood superstars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, set in the 1960's.

Each episode is packed with great one-liners, amazing actresses and it's the perfect show for devouring on a wet January weekend.

Giovanna Ryan was a runner up on last year's MasterChef.

Molly is a huge fan of MasterChef so has been following her since the season finished. We've shared a few of her delicious breakfast images on our Instagram a couple of times, and now we've discovered that Giovanna sleeps in our Secret Linen.

Isn't the internet amazing.

Her Instagram is full of mouth-watering images of delicious meals. It's also worth giving her website Little Brixton Kitchen a peruse for some amazing recipe inspiration.

Molly spent an evening chuckling away at the film 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople'.

Set in New Zealand the film tells the story of an orphan who goes on the run with his foster uncle. It's full of tiny moments that make you smile from ear to ear.

It was released in 2016 so should be easy to track down to watch for yourself.

We've always had a thing for pink... it's been our Secret Linen Store colour since day one and at the moment we seem to be going potty for pink.

We've been weaving in pink yarns to create something special for your beds and now we've been dreaming of pink jumpers, shoes and even pink sofas.

We've been cooking anything and everything from 'The Roasting Tin'.

It's the only cook book you need throughout winter, with simple (and seriously delicious) recipes, that all get baked in a roasting tin. Easy food and perfect for cold January nights.

If you treat yourself to your own copy you must try the Spiced Roast Cauliflower, Sweet Potato & Almonds bake or the Oven Cooked Beetroot Risotto... both giving us some much needed veg in-between the Christmas parties, chocolates and cheese boards.
