Butternut Squash Breakfast Hash

Keep your plate colourful with a healthy breakfast hash. Adding butternut squash will give it bundles more flavour and makes your plate beam with some sunshine. Try this recipe from Love & Lemons, and if you're a meat lover, a portion of very crispy streaky bacon goes perfectly on the side.

Smoothie Bowls

Smoothies are easy to make, healthy and always taste delicious no matter what you throw into the mixer. This recipe is your normal everyday smoothie, just a touch fancier. Keep the mix thicker than usual to make it sit better in your bowl and go crazy with toppings. Peanut butter, fresh fruit, and a handful of granola.

10 Minute Mango Pancakes

Deliciously Ella is the best place to go to trick yourself into eating clean. Her recipes are healthy, but still feel like a treat, and taste delicious. These pancakes are easy to make if you're in a hurry, taste amazing and will give you all the energy you need for the morning. You never know, you might even like them more than your normal pancake mix?

Overnight Plum & Almond Oats

Overnight oats have revolutionised breakfast time for those of us that skip brekkie because we're rushing out the door. Preparing your oats the night before makes them taste even better. If you think you've tried and tested all the overnight oat combinations possible, then give this plum and almond recipe a try for something a little different... drizzle of honey and serve with a piping hot cup of coffee. Harriet's favourite is soaking them in Almond milk, with plenty of fresh Raspberries, Mango, and a sprinkle of seeds. Delicious!

Breakfast Doughnuts

We shared a video of Jamie Oliver whipping up some of his famous breakfast doughnuts on our Facebook a little while back, and boy oh boy did it make our tummies grumble. Doughnuts for breakfast is a real weekend treat, and these ones aren't even all that bad for you.

See the recipe here, and give them a go this weekend.

Huevos Rancheros

If you haven't tried Huevos Rancheros you haven't lived. A Mexican brunch that's filling, tasty, easy to make and only uses one pan (less washing up on a weekend, woohoo!). The most colourful breakfast recipe you'll find.

This is by far our favourite recipe, give it a go... you won't be disappointed.
