Now this, I should warn you is quite an odd one. This week I discovered ASMR, Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. So what is it? I first discovered it whilst looking for ways to cure my current bought of insomnia which seems to have appeared from nowhere post moving house. I have never suffered with sleep problems before, so this is all very new to me. I stumbled across these video's online and I couldn't believe my eyes. It appears that ASMR has a big cult following and insomniacs everywhere are turning to these videos to get them off the sleep. I must admit, it was all a bit too strange for me to get involved but I found it so fascinating, I had to share it.
ASMR is used as a relaxation therapy where noises and actions such as whispering, tapping, or scratching, trigger a tingling, physical sensation. The Waterwhispers is a You Tube channel full of these unusual videos. Make your own mind up, but either way, it is certainly something new.
