Our top seven pyjamas

There is nothing we like more than wearing our pyjamas, so for National Pyjama Day we thought we’d share with you our favourite ladies pyjamas. There are brands we all know and love and a couple that might still be our little secret… that we’re sharing with you – obviously!

Hush, Stars, from £19.50

We may have mentioned this dazzling set of pyjamas before but can you really blame us? Hush offer crisp cotton and most importantly colourful sets of pjs that send you to actual pyjama heaven!

Seasalt, Stripes, £49.50

Seasalt are the designers of all things coastal, all their clothing and homewares are inspired by their life by the Cornish seaside. We have to agree that coastal = stripes (have you seen our Coastal Stipes bedding?) and this set looks so cosy, now all we need is a mini break to the seaside to have an excuse to wear them.

Yawn, Take It Slow, £65

Do you ever go out shopping for something and can’t find quite what you want? Well that’s exactly how Yawn was founded by busy mum of three Alice. They have created the softest, comfiest pyjamas, made from luxurious cotton. The thing I love most is their ‘design stories’ and I’ve fallen in love with their ‘take it slow’ collection, featuring the smallest little snails. If that doesn’t encourage you to slow down, have a large cup of tea and switch off your phone, I don’t know what will!

Fat Face, Ice Cream, £28.00

The perfect alternative to a nightdress is this sweet (literally, it’s covered in ice cream) playsuit. I’m not quite sold on how comfortable it would be throughout the entire night, especially with all the obligatory tossing and turning, but it seems ideal for hot summer evenings lounging around the house, and even better you can get a matching kimono, just in case the English weather does what it does best.

Toast, Nighties, £59.00

For those that prefer a nightie, Toast seem to have made it their mission to offer something for everyone. They have such a varied collection of shapes and colours. We love these designs because they don’t feel like something you were forced into aged ten and don’t look like the huge tent you saw your Nan in 100 times and it’s all down to the details such as the pleats, buttons, colours and prints. Gorgeous.

Olivia von Halle, Alba Keiko, £295

Olivia von Halle

For something much more luxurious you can’t go wrong with silk, however with silk comes with the cost of silk, so expect to pay a little more. This set were designed to imitate the feeling of putting on your mans shirt, achieved through the tailoring and the draping of the shirt, in fact the shirt is so nice I could be tempted to wear it in the day as well. Always beware with silk though, we don’t want you slipping out of your bed!

Boden, Birds, £29.00

Boden never fail when it comes to comfy clothing and this is also true of their pyjama collection. Their bird design is in such calming colours but adds a splash of colour through the vibrant pink waist tie. If the bird print isn’t for you these loungers come in a range of designs that includes spots, botanic florals and even vegetables.
