Grey is timeless, classic and effortlessly stylish. We love to splash colour on the beds (the brighter the better)... but in some bedrooms grey is the only way. Often given a bad name for being a bit gloomy, we couldn't disagree more. Molly's even written an entire post about the love she has for her grey bedroom.
Here's four grey bedroom ideas that will make you're bedroom feel cosier than ever.
A firm favourite if you love a clean sleeping space and minimal clutter. Simple to achieve with a monochrome colour palette, wooden accessories and furniture with clean lines. Our Percale Stripe Grey duvet cover adds the perfect focal point in a Scandinavian bedroom interior.

We love all things tropical (our dreams are often filled of Piña coladas and tropical islands). But most of all we love the tropical interior trend. So much so that we popped big blue Flamingos onto some sheets and some big juicy Pineapples.
But when it came to creating a tropical inspired bedroom we opted for grey. A tropical bedroom needs fresh shades of green, plenty of foliage, wooden furniture and accessories and finishing it off with grey creates the perfect balance.

Bold and Bright
We love the colour contrast in this bedroom. If you want to sleep in a space that makes you wake up happy then splash some colours on the wall. For bright bedrooms work in colour blocks. In this room we've splashed bright green on the walls (we decided Kermit the Frog would love to sleep here!) and contrasted with grey bedding and black accessories.
Grey is also the perfect companion for other colours
A simple combination of black, white and grey create a bedroom that is cool and contemporary. Black and white is timeless and by choosing this colour palette for your bedroom you can easily update your room regularly with a switch of accessories. It's a bedroom style that is difficult to get wrong whether you opt for striking dark walls or optic white. Dark walls create a cosy space, perfect for bigger bedrooms while choosing white as your main accent colour will make your room feel bright and spacious. Pop on a set of grey bedding to complete the look.
Whatever bedroom style you choose, grey is definitely here to stay. So come on... which is your favourite?
